Freelance SEO Copywriter

Project: SEO product listing page copy
Availability: ~10-25 hours per week for 2 months, perhaps ongoing after that

Rate: $45/hour

We’re looking for a writer for SEO PLP (product listing page) content for a large global apparel and footwear sport retailer. Project will start Jan. ’24, and our ideal candidates can devote 10-25 hours a week during the course of a project. Projects vary from a few months to ongoing monthly work.

Working in our web-based writing tool, for each PLP assignment you’ll deliver:

• 1-2 sentence header copy
• 200-word SEO product listing page footers that include around 10 keywords each

There could be a short amount of additional content required, depending on the project needs.

Your job will be to ensure delivered content meets client guidelines, including legal and brand direction.

Things that should sound fun and interesting to you:

• Diving into sport-inspired, style-focused product content, including footwear, apparel and accessories. A love of soccer and/or team sports is a big plus.
• Submitting weekly check-ins and staying in close communication with your assigned lead writer.
• Incorporating feedback immediately and into future work, i.e., the next week.
• Meeting weekly deadlines.

This is a freelance position at about ~10-25 hours/week for about 2 months*, starting early January, 2024. We pay $45/hour. *and perhaps ongoing after that.

You’re able to:

• Work in Thread’s own web-based, interactive writing tool, Talkoot.
• Be a detail-oriented and efficient content creator who will rely largely on data and information in Talkoot and client URLs.
• Bring a wide-ranging familiarity with a variety of sports. Let us know, for example, if you have specific knowledge of soccer (meaning Global football) or basketball.
• Meet delivery deadlines and deliver weekly check-ins.
• Incorporate feedback as requested.
• Communicate changes in your schedule asap.
• We ask for a commitment for the length of the project once you accept the work.
